Students within the district who would like to attend Launch Highschool are chosen through a lottery system.
There are a limited number of students who can attend Launch High School at any time. To keep things fair, we've created a lottery system so everyone has an equal chance of attending across the district with a few exceptions.
Students are given preference in the lottery based on the following:
They have a sibling in attendance, the student attends an introductory workshop, attendance at a parent meeting, and student's expression of interest.
Parent Meetings will be held at Launch High School and via Zoom. The times for the 2023-24 Parent Meetings will be on January 17th and January 18th from 6 PM to 7 PM at Launch High School. Introductory Workshops will be held at Launch High School in person only, on January 31st and February 1st from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. These workshops are for students to experience a portion of the design thinking projects at Launch.
2. Once logged in, add your students by clicking the “Associate Student” button at the bottom.
3. Once you’ve added your students, Click “Begin Application” as shown below.
4. Click on the student, select the ICSD Lottery Application for the Launch Lottery.
5. Complete the application, including student interest questions, and Submit.
