The boundary open houses were held at Cedar Middle and Canyon View Middle schools Monday.
Attendees were able to view maps of the proposed boundaries, speak with school principals and ask questions of district leaders.
For those unable to attend one of the open houses, there are still opportunities to give input.
Parents may still post questions and comments on the form https://bit.ly/boundarystudy.
Public comment can be made at the Board of Education meetings scheduled for Jan. 27 and Feb. 24.
A public hearing specific to the boundary proposal will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 17 in the board room at 2077 W. Royal Hunte Drive.
Boundary maps can be viewed on the district website at https://www.irondistrict.org/page/boundary-proposal
Once the boundaries are set by the Board of Education — scheduled for consideration during the meeting on Feb. 24 — parents have 30 days to apply for a variance due to boundary adjustments. That form is located at https://bit.ly/boundaryvariance
